Business : Colorbar is one of India’s leading beauty brand. Positioned as a premium category brand, their promise is to make every woman feel beautiful with best-in-class, innovative products of global quality.

Challenge : Colorbar was introducing a new product in their lipstick vertical and wanted a packaging idea that is unique as well as eye-catchy & classy. They had a rough idea in their mind to design a box-package on which there are several pictures of lips, coloured in different lipstick shades and the effect should be like- lips are moving on taking the package in hands.

Strategy: We suggested several ideas: printing on a poly sheet or lenticular printing on which the effect could be more visible. We also proposed printing on black sheets where the shots of open & closed lips will be taken & then the sheets would be pasted on boxes & sleeves.

Result: Client decided to go with the Lenticular printing & was quite impressed with the dummy sample. Soon after launching, approximately 500 lipstick box-packages were sold & we got a lot of appreciation for this innovative solution.
